NCIS: NEW ORLEANS Sneak Peeks: Murder On The Menu

When a radio personality hears gunshots on the other end of her on-air call, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS is alerted.

The murdered caller was Navy Captain Jim Grant (guest star Clay Edmund Kraski).  Grant was friends with the radio host, Kayla, and her former commanding officer in Iraq.

When Pride (Scott Bakula) arrives at the radio station, he meets the radio host and her co-worker, Tyson Reed (guest star Eric Mendenhall) who together run a non-profit to which Captain Grant planned to donate.

Dwayne, Tyson and Kayla take a phone call warning the DJ of a threat on her life.  Brandon Hall (guest star James Hirouyuki Liao) also is trying to warn someone about impending danger, screaming, “They’re coming after all of us!”

On the homefront, Laurel Pride (Shanley Caswell) has something to tell her dad about her future.

Recent questions from readers:

Does Scott Bakula really cook?  (He certainly LOOKS like he is whipping up those Eggs Florentine…)

Is there an NCIS: NEW ORLEANS cookbook?  (Have not found one online, but there definitely is a market for one.)

Why does Christopher Lasalle (Lucas Black) say “Roll Tide” in so many episodes?  (Black, and his alter-ego, Lasalle, both hail from the home of America’s #1 football team, the University of Alabama, which Black follows religiously.  The correct response to “Roll Tide” is “Go Bama” should you run into Black down in LSU territory.)

Did Zoe McLellan (Special Agent Meredith “Merri” Brody) get this season’s new haircut in Los Angeles or New Orleans?  (Perhaps a local stylist will respond.  It is a great ‘do.)

NCIS NEW ORLEANS also stars Rob Kerkovich as Forensic Scientist Sebastian Lund, Shalita Grant as Sonja Percy, Daryl “Chill” Mitchell as Investigative Computer Specialist Patton Plame, and CCH Pounder as Medical Examiner, Dr. Loretta Wade.

Tonight’s episode, “Radio Silence,” also guest stars Lilli Birdsell as Rachel Grant and Mike R. Moreau.

“Radio Silence” was written by producer, Laurie Arent, and Greta Heinemann, and was directed by Tessa Blake.

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS airs at 9pm tonight on CBS in the United States and on Global TV in Canada.  U.S. viewers, check local listings due to Super Tuesday election results programming.
