Great news, NCIS fans! The most watched television drama in the world has been renewed for two more seasons!
CBS released the news yesterday that Gibbs and crew will be solving crime for seasons 14 and 15. Comments about the renewal and the series from the President of CBS Entertainment follow the sneak peek at tonight’s episode, “After Hours.”
Tonight’s episode, “After Hours,” refers to a situation that happens far too often in some relationships. The “body” may be home, but the “brain” still is focused on work. It happens to most people, including the NCIS team.
Details are nagging the team over what seems to be an open-and-shut case. DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) ruins a date by rehashing a case that is, for all intents and purposes, reaching a foregone outcome.
Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and Bishop (Emily Wickersham) seem to be looking for a flaw in the logic during interrogation. Could they have doubts about the veracity of the recounting of the crime by Navy Petty Officer Second Class, James Muldoon? (Lachlan Buchanan, “Kyle Abbott” on a break from THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, portrays Muldoon.)
Sometimes, however, dwelling over that gut feeling is necessary. Each agent catches errors made during the investigation.
Abby (Pauley Perrette) waits for the “other shoe to drop” on the case, while McGee (Sean Murray) and Delilah (Margo Harshman) argue over breaking the rule of “no shoptalk at dinner.”
When Tim reconstructs the crime scene by using the food supposed to be served for dinner, Delilah gets angry. The sight of the entrée spread out on the counter to replicate a murder scene tends to make a meal less appetizing.
Harshman, who has been recurring as McGee’s girlfriend, Delilah Fielding, since 2013, has the rare distinction of being an actor with recurring roles on television’s #1 comedy (THE BIG BANG THEORY), and television’s #1 drama, (NCIS) during their runs.
