The relationships for the doctors at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital have not been as steamy as they used to be — especially since last season of GREY’S ANATOMY. Calzona is no more, Meredith is now a widow and, in a heartbreaking episode last week, April and Jackson signed divorce papers. But it turns out there may be hope there after all, so we’re definitely staying tuned for that one! But who do we have to ship now? That’s a clear choice: the dear-to-our-hearts Alex Karev and Jo Wilson. They’ve seemed to remain together while surpassing obstacles, but will Jo accept Alex’s marriage proposal the second time around?
Karev and Wilson’s relationship began as a friendship that later blossomed into something more after Alex admitted he loved Jo when Wilson was contemplating moving in with Jason. Since then, they’ve been through the return and passing of Karev’s father, a non-fraternization rule at the hospital (for which they signed a Love Contract) and, more recently, Meredith’s extremely close friendship. There is no denying that the two have undeniable compatibility and strength — but is Wilson ready for marriage?
In the sneak peek below, Wilson and Karev discuss the ring and whether or not it should be returned. Let’s go ahead and vote “no” on that one, what do you say, Jo?
