Alice Vaughan is a private investigator who is very good at her job. But what happens when a woman who is used to finding con artists is actually conned? That’s what THE CATCH, the newest drama from the Shondaland producers, is all about.
Alice (Mireille Enos) built Anderson/Vaughan Investigations from the ground up with her BFF Valerie Anderson (Rose Rollins). Together, the two of them investigate the most elaborate cases from around the world alongside Danny Yoon (another PI) and Sophie Novak, who serves as their in-house counsel and hacker. At the top of her game, Alice is also enjoying life with her dashing fiancé, Benjamin Jones (Peter Krause).
But one day Alice is shocked to discover that Benjamin is not the man she believed him to be. Instead, he cons her out of her millions and then disappears, leaving her to go on a private mission for payback. As Benjamin slips back into a life of international crime with his partners (Margot Bishop and Reggie Lennox), Alice is being approached by FBI Agent Jules Dao, who has been following Benjamin’s life of crime for a while now.
