“There are no innocent men. Not on Wall Street”. That’s what Chuck Rhodes tells Bryan in this week’s BILLIONS when the underling faces a moral dilemma as to whether he should frame an innocent man as a mole after Axe receives a tip about a mole inside his company. Chuck believes they need to protect their real mole, but Bryan doesn’t want to frame a patsy in order to keep up their investigation. As a result Chuck is frustrated by what’s happening with the investigation, but he and Wendy are both looking forward to a future without Axe Capital looming between them.
Meanwhile, Axe becomes deeply paranoid about the potential mole and tries to scare them out, while the investigation starts to invade Lara’s personal life, which causes tension between her and Axe. Finally, Showtime warns that “a secret from Axe’s past surfaces, threatening everything he has built.”
