Kate gets sweaty in this week’s CASTLE sneak peek. It looks like she has taken a trip back to the Police Academy and finds a young recruit working out in the gym, much like a young Beckett would do herself between classes.
Kate takes it upon herself to show the recruit how to properly take down a perp. Low center of gravity, use your hips, carry their momentum down. Beckett demonstrates and the as-yet-unnamed-young women tries herself. A success! With a “thanks, Captain” the girl seems grateful for the extra practice from our favorite seasoned detective.
Elsewhere in the episode, a recruit officer at the NYPD Academy is killed, which is why Beckett and the team go back to their old training ground to investigate.
