NCIS: LOS ANGELES Sneak Peeks: Face Of An Angel

The face of an angel…that is one way to describe child actor, Gavin Lewis, who guest stars tonight on NCIS: LOS ANGELES.  He is billed as Nadir, Karim and Tomar Zahavi, quite an accomplishment for a pair of shoulders that do not yet reach 5’ tall.

Young Gavin has had a lot of life crammed into his relatively few years on this earth.

Diagnosed with Type-1 Diabetes when he was six-years-old, Gavin was told that he would have to get a shot every time he ate for the rest of his life.

But rather than letting diabetes define his life, he became an outspoken advocate, tackling the disease head-on.

Another accomplishment for Gavin that same year was his campaign to clean the oceans.  Having read about the polluted Pacific, he and his parents put together a website to sell bottle cap magnets, and Gavin entered a contest that was centered around kids making a difference.

He won $5000 to donate to the Surfrider Foundation and became pals with actor/singer Nick Jonas, who also has Type-1 Diabetes.  At the ripe old age of 6, Gavin Lewis decided to follow his buddy Nick’s path and become an actor.  Inspirational and aspirational.

Tonight, Lewis has a chance to show off the acting chops that he has developed over the past few years, sharing pivotal scenes with father of 5, Chris O’Donnell (as G Callen).

In tonight’s episode, “The Seventh Child,” which was directed and written by series producer, Frank Military, Callen and the team try to save a child who has been brainwashed by a terrorist cell.

Shooting required hours in a water tank for O’Donnell and Lewis, a tough assignment for the most seasoned actor, and Frank Military who is known for his intense scenes, is likely to have action-packed each act with drama, possible heartbreak and dichotomy.

Meanwhile, Sam (LL Cool J) leads the bomb squad into dire circumstances and orders the house evacuated and surrounding area cleared.

Set against the theme of terrorism and brainwashed children, Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) consider the possibility that they may have a child together, someday.

NCIS: LOS ANGELES also stars Linda Hunt, Barrett Foa, Renée Felice Smith and Miguel Ferrer.

Alicia Coppola returns as FBI Senior Special Agent Lisa Rand.  Other guest stars include Jorge-Luis Pallo, Jennifer Carta, Aylam Orian, Cade Canon Ball, Gichi Gamba, Yawar Charlie, Madailin Rose Pot, Jakob Wedel and Samuel Parker.

NCIS: LOS ANGELES airs tonight (March 21) beginning at 9:59 p.m. ET/PT on CBS in the United States and Global TV in Canada.
