NCIS: NEW ORLEANS Sneak Peek: 3-2-1-Zed

During his tenure with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and as head of NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) has made many enemies among the criminal element of the Crescent City.

One of his adversaries, Zed Hastings (guest star Patrick Brennan), has a long memory and a short temper.  He seems to have taken it personally when Dwayne went undercover to infiltrate Zed’s terrorist group, and now Dwayne’s job may lead to fallout for the people that he loves.

When Pride’s daughter, Laurel (Shanley Caswell), has a gut feeling that someone has been watching her, she is concerned that she has a stalker, but there is no concrete proof.   A van seems to be following her around campus, and she has seen it near her apartment.  It is not until she is attacked by a man in a hoodie that her fears are confirmed.  She fights back, and local delinquent, Reggie Clifton (guest star Joel K. Berger), may have met his match.

With a minor record of harassment, is Clifton the real threat, or is there a potential situation that is much more deadly?  With that possibility, Laurel is put in protective custody.

Pride prevails upon the local authorities to share information out of professional courtesy, even though NCIS is not part of the investigation.  Baton Rogue Detective Todd Lamont (guest star Barry Shabaka Henley) takes pity on the worried father and sends him off on a promising lead.

As they investigate, the NCIS: NEW ORLEANS team finds a surveillance van filled with photos of every move Dwayne has made following Laurel’s attack.

There may be more questions than answers.  Could Zed and the boys be planning to make Pride and those close to him suffer for Dwayne’s part in their legal troubles?  Will Dwayne rethink his decision to let Laurel take some time off from school?  Do the local police think that Laurel is responsible for Reggie’s death?

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS stars Lucas Black, Zoe McLellan, Rob Kerkovich, Shalita Grant, Daryl ‘Chill’ Mitchell and CCH Pounder.

Guest stars on tonight’s episode, “Means to an End,” are Julie Ann Emery, Kathleen Munroe and Matthew Alan.  “Means to an End” was written by series producer, Christopher Silber, and directed by Alrick Riley.

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS airs tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS in the United States and on Global TV in Canada.
