OUTLANDER Season 2: Moving the Action to Paris

Season 1 of OUTLANDER was all about the Scottish highlands, kilts and…well, lots of mud. But when the show returns for its second season it’s going to look very, very different.

That’s because Claire and Jamie are heading to Paris and to the royal court, which is filled with enormous skirts and a great deal of decadance. And likely a lot of political intrigue, although we’re mostly focusing on the new setting and how that’s going to look.

Fortunately, Starz has put together an informative featurette with a lot of sneak peeks at what’s to come in Paris this season. Everything will be ornate, grand and vibrant, including all of the sets and the beautiful costumes. Interestingly, Prague served as the exterior street scenes for the show as well, giving it that old world feel.

OUTLANDER returns for its second season on April 9 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Starz.
