DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Sneak Peek: You’re Late!

There is good news and bad news tonight on DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW.

The bad news is that at the end of the last episode, Ray (Brandon Routh), Sara (Caity Lotz) and Kendra (Ciara Renée) were left standing in the snow in 1958 while they watched the Waverider fly away without them.

Not knowing that the villain, Chronos, has commandeered the ship, the trio does not know what to think, so they adjust as best they can.

Ray and Kendra continue their pretense of being married.  Their ruse to investigate Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) in the last episode turns into a real relationship, and over time, they bond into an actual couple.  Despite interracial couples being frowned upon in some areas in 1958, the two continue to be “married” and try to adapt.

Ray’s access to technology goes from the incredible computing capabilities of Palmer Tech to a blackboard and chalk. (Check out the vintage cars and Brandon Routh rocking the professor look with a tweed jacket).

The good news is that a frustrated Sara eventually gives up on the idea of the team returning and leaves Ray and Kendra behind.

While that may not seem like great news, it opens the door for ARROW fan favorite, Matt Nable, to return as Ra’s al Ghul.  Nable, a former Australian professional rugby league footballer, has so much charisma that the producers need to “undead” him in the present and make him a Legend.

Talia al Ghul also appears tonight in 1958, but as a young girl (guest star Milli Wilkinson, “Young Cruella” on ONCE UPON A TIME).

Meanwhile, the rest of the team battles Chronos on the Waverider in the time stream.  The battle spans what is two years for the ones “Left Behind” (the title of tonight’s episode), but only seems like a short time to those who fight to return for the rescue.

When they return to 1958 to pick up the trio, they find out that Sara is gone and has rejoined Ra’s and the League of Assassins.  Looks like some potential swordplay is in store between White Canary and Hawkgirl.

Check out the sneak peek of “Left Behind” below, along with a return sizzle clip and a look forward to upcoming episodes, including one with Jonah Hex!  Rumor also has it that Patrick J. Adams of SUITS has been tapped as a new character for the season finale.

DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW also stars Victor Garber, Arthur Darvill, Franz Drameh, Amy Pemberton, Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller.  “Left Behind” was written by Beth Schwartz & Grainne Godfree and directed by John F. Showalter.

DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW airs tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW and at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on CTV in Canada.
