The doctors of CHICAGO MED are back with a rather unusual case and a child that may have more than a wrist injury going on.
Dr. Manning’s patient is a young boy that comes in with a broken wrist and, while that is concerning on its own, the boy’s x-ray and lack of reporting of a previously broken arm causes the doctor to get suspicious about the circumstances under which the boy actually got these injuries.
All the while, a new patient in the emergency department challenges Dr. Choi and Dr. Charles, as they struggle to figure out what their next move is when the patient complains that his heart is pounding in his head and he’s willing to do anything to stop it.
Elsewhere on CHICAGO MED, Dr. Rhodes feels the pressure as he continues in his new role in the operating room, Dr. Halstead gets some news about the lawsuit, April’s social life is livening up, and Reese tries to find the source of her new-found anxiety.
