Christine is skilled at making her clients feel like they’re important to her, but it becomes clear on this week’s episode of THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE that the men she is sleeping with are not in a relationship with her.
First, there’s Kevin. He confesses to her that he can’t exactly afford her rates and asks her if she can make an exception and lower them for him. After all, he’s enamoured with her and doesn’t want to let her go. Then there’s other clients, each of whom discuss their various personal issues with her. One even invites her along to New York for a business trip. And then there’s a call from one of her client’s wives, which goes about as well as you can expect.
Over at her day job, she attends a firm party and we catch a scene between David and his wife that indicates all is not well at home. He also becomes far more friendly with Christine and less standoffish towards her. And things become troubling for David when Erin one-ups him with a valuable client.
