Peter heads to trial in this week’s episode of THE GOOD WIFE and Diane has stepped in to represent him now that Mike Tascioni has backed out. Alicia is determined to keep Peter from returning to jail and is even in “Mrs. Florrick mode” when it comes to dealing with Jason. Lucca points out that Peter returning to jail could be beneficial for Jason and Alicia’s relationship, but Jason doesn’t want to “win” that way.
Meanwhile, Diane and Lucca team up to aggressively expand their female-led firm, but they’re facing serious opposition from David Lee, despite the fact that he agreed to the plan. Alicia also seems hesitant to expand in an aggressive manner.
