THE GRINDER Season Finale: So Much Drama as Everything Comes Full Circle

Eight months ago, the Sanderson family made themselves an enemy. And now, Dean has realized who is behind his father’s malpractice suit. When he’s told about Dean’s suspicions, Stewart thinks the theory is preposterous. But Dean insists that they bring it before the judge. Unfortunately that plan backfires, because the plaintiff sent the judge a tape of Stewart breaking into his house. He gets suspended for several months and appoints Claire in his place.

But Dean wants to be the one to lead this case and, thanks to a little bit of help from Dean Sr., he is appointed lead counsel. And so Dean must come face-to-face with his arch-nemesis in court. Despite’s Stewart’s insistence that Dean stick to his prepared cue cards for his opening statement, the cards aren’t working, and Dean decides to work his magic instead. But Dean’s nemesis has gathered some tools in his arsenal since the last time he faced the Sandersons and Dean starts doubting his own abilities. And boy, does he want to bring the drama on the Sanderson brothers.

Meanwhile, the Sanderson kids interview their parents for a school project and Deb freaks out when she realizes she was drunk during her interview.
