On July 13th, MR. ROBOT — the 2015 Peabody Award and Critics’ Choice Award Winner – returns for a second season on USA Network.
On the off chance you missed the universal acclaim from TV critics and TV twitterati alike, MR. ROBOT stars Golden Globe and SAG Award Nominee Rami Malek and Golden Globe Award Winner Christian Slater and follows Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek), a young cyber-security engineer who becomes involved in the underground hacker group fsociety, after being recruited by their mysterious leader (Christian Slater).
The upcoming second season will explore the consequences of fsociety’s 5/9 hack on the multi-national company Evil Corp and will also introduce some pretty awesome guest stars along-side series regulars Malek, Slater, Portia Doubleday, Carly Chaikin, Grace Gummer, Michael Cristofer and Stephanie Corneliussen. New recurring characters include Craig Robinson (“The Office”) and hip hop artist Joey Bada$$, among others. Returning cast members include BD Wong (“Law & Order: SVU”), Gloria Reuben (“Saints & Sinners”), Michael Drayer (“Vinyl”), Michel Gill (“House of Cards”), Ron Cephas Jones (“The Blacklist”), Sunita Mani (“5 Stages”), Azhar Khan (“Veep”) and Ben Rappaport (“The Good Wife”).
