The CW has released a new preview for season 5 of ARROW and it shows that there are a lot of changes in store.
Oliver is now the mayor, for one. And he’s going to find himself challenged as he fights as a citizen and as a vigilante for the future of Star City. Thea has also retired from her vigilante ways, but she’s sticking by Oliver’s side in his mayoral position. And Diggle is back with the military.
All of this means that Team Green Arrow is just down to Oliver and Felicity. But it turns out they’re not the only vigilantes left in town. Oliver’s defeat of Damien Darhk has inspired a new group of vigilantes to step up. But their inexperience isn’t helping things. For example, poor Curtis can’t even make it up the salmon ladder.
ARROW will return on Wednesday, October 5 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
