The CW released a trailer for season 3 of THE FLASH at Comic-Con that showed us this strange new world that Barry will be inhabiting as a result of changing the past in the season 2 finale. Known as “Flashpoint”, Barry comes back to a present where both of his parents are alive, Wally West is Kid Flash, Cisco is a very rich man, Joe is very unhappy, and Iris isn’t Barry’s love interest. While he has his parents back after their untimely deaths, changing the past may have given Barry some ramifications that he simply can’t live with.
But will he go back in time again to change the past? That’s yet to be seen. What we do have now are photos from the season 3 premiere that show us some happy times with the reunited Allen family and a meeting between Iris and Barry. The two don’t really know each other well in the Flashpoint universe, but are there already sparks brewing in one of these photos?
THE FLASH will return for its third season on Tuesday, October 4 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
