Beckinsale and Raido play a couple who move from Brooklyn to a once-grand southern mansion with their five year old son looking for a fresh start. As one might expect from a movie titled the “Disappointments Room,” the family’s not-so-humble abode holds a few stranger things of its very own. Namely, a secret room that unleashes unexplainable events that test Beckinsale’s character’s sanity and slowly reveal the home’s terrifying past.
