THE CASE OF: JONBENÉT RAMSEY Sneak Peek: Revisiting the Crime Scene

True crime is fascinating to the public. And 20 years after the death of young JonBenét Ramsey, the public fascination with her case continues.

JonBenét’s parents awoke on December 26, 1996 to find their daughter missing and a ransom note left behind. A search for the six year old began and her body was eventually discovered by her father in the family’s basement. Her parents — John and Patsy — along with her younger brother were the prime suspects in the case, but no charges were ever brought against anyone and her murder remains unsolved to this day.

Former New York City prosecutor, retired FBI supervisory special agent and profiler Jim Clemente has assembled a dream team of original and new investigators for the case to reexamine the evidence 20 years later and see if they can figure out who committed the crime.

The investigators recreated and rebuilt the Ramsey house as it existed in 1996 and CBS has released a sneak peek showing the critical rooms of the house and the evidence collected in the rooms. In addition, watch clips below introducing the investigations team and examiming the ransom letter.
