Walter raced to Lake Tahoe to confess his feelings for Paige when season 2 of SCORPION ended, but it looks like this couple has hit another roadblock. As Tim and Paige share a walk around the resort in the premiere tonight, Tim confesses to Paige that he’s very interested in pursuing a relationship with her, but he wants her to tell him if there’s anything holding her back. She thinks it over and tells him that she’s interested as well and the two of them kiss. Unfortunately, this is witnessed by Walter, who takes in the scene before walking away and then gets a call from Cabe about their newest assignment.
Elsewhere in the two-hour season premiere, Team Scorpion must put aside their personal and romantic predicaments when anonymous hackers with unknown motives take control of U.S. military aircraft and warships and point weapons at American cities. In the second hour, just as Team Scorpion makes headway against the hackers controlling U.S. naval destroyers, they learn that a U.S. nuclear submarine also has been hacked and has a missile about to launch.
