We learn more about Maggie on this week’s CHICAGO MED as the doctors deal with a patient with a language barrier, a potential clash of authority, and an unusual pregnancy.
Maggie’s sister, Denise, is in town for their family reunion and she ends up in the ER. But it seems like she’s not entirely comfortable being there. Dr. Halstead and Maggie try to get her to stay, but she quickly shoots it down. The introduction in the preview below sends up some warning flags and we’re left wondering what Maggie’s sister is hiding.
Elsewhere on CHICAGO MED, Dr. Manning and Jeff are working to narrow down exactly what their patient has, but are met with a language barrier, as their Indonesian patient speaks no English. What’s worse is that it seems he’s in terrible shape and the pair are struggling to figure out why.
Finally, Dr. Rhodes decides to take on a patient that requires a complicated heart surgery without talking to Dr. Latham about it, while Reese and Dr. Charles find themselves with a patient going through some unusual effects during her pregnancy.
