DESIGNATED SURVIVOR Sneak Peek: Know Your Enemy

The mystery of the Capitol bombing and the intrigue behind the succession of power in crisis heighten this week on DESIGNATED SURVIVOR.

Last week on DESIGNATED SURVIVOR, President Kirkman was forced to admit he was “fired” by the late President, fueling questions of whether he belongs in office. That widened an opening for the only surviving member of Congress, Kimble Hookstraten, who has designs on the Oval Office herself. Meanwhile, another member of Congress was found in the rubble, but FBI agent Hannah Wells — looking for clues to who was behind the Capitol bombing — found that Congressman MacLeish was missing from his seat seconds before the blast.

This week, Agent Wells visits a still-recuperating Congressman MacLeish to confront him with photo evidence. President Kirkman learns who was behind the attack on the Capitol, leading to more conflicts with a military leader who doesn’t think the President is a tough enough leader as the country considers going to war. The President who, last week, retained the White House Chief of Staff Tyler Richmond over his own assigns his former Chief of Staff Emily Rhodes to monitor growing domestic concerns. And First Lady Alex Kirkman finds things aren’t quite what they seem when she seeks help from scheming Congresswoman Kookstraten.

See the sneak peek video below and watch DESIGNATED SURVIVOR tonight (October 12) at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC (U.S.) and CTV (Canada).
