Something old feels like something new this week on THE BIG BANG THEORY. We’ve been focused on the Wolowitz pregnancy the past couple of weeks but this week we return to “Fun with Flags,” with Sheldon and Amy hosting an episode “on location.” New look, new feel, right?
Last week Howard felt the baby kick in the womb, which sent him scurrying to the baby store to buy furniture and toys for the new baby’s room — without Bernadette. Penny attended the Van Nuys Comic Con with Leonard, where fandom was as strange as you can imagine. And Sheldon threw a surprise brunch for Amy, inviting an eclectic group of visitors as a trial get-together that didn’t thrill invitee Stuart, who felt unappreciated as a test friend.
This week, in addition to the return of “Fun with Flags,” Amy has problems giving up her living arrangements with Sheldon, so she lies about the progress made in repairs to her damaged apartment. At the same time, Penny hasn’t been telling Leonard about secretly moving his collectibles into storage — not that he’s noticed. Word leaks out to the guys and despite the ladies doing their best to keep mum the word, there will be an accounting.
