April faces a big challenge after her discovery at the end of last week’s CHICAGO MED, while some of the other doctors deal with a risky idea for a transplant patient.
Doctors Halstead and Manning deal with a transplant patient whose case gets complicated by his dialysis this week. One of their options is his brother, who is dealing with a far worse diagnosis but wants to help his brother with his kidney.
All the while, April’s cough in last week’s episode is an indicator that something’s not right with her TB and Dr. Halstead, along with April, discover that new complications have arisen.
Elsewhere on CHICAGO MED, Dr. Reese continues trying to help Danny even as he must decide. Issues follow Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Latham as they come up against an overprotective mother whose daughter’s genetic condition worsens, leaving only surgery as the remedy. As Dr. Rhodes works to get his patient what she needs, Dr. Charles attempts to meddle in his daughter Robyn’s personal affairs, making for a very angry daughter.
