What’s coming to The CW the week of December 5? Brittany Snow is guest starring on CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND, the President makes a deal with Lucifer on SUPERNATURAL, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES celebrates Christmas and the winter finale of FREQUENCY will air.

Tuesday, December 6

THE FLASH 3.09 “The Present”: With Alchemy and Savitar still looming threats, Barry (Grant Gustin) is unable to focus on the Christmas holiday, and especially his relationship with Iris (Candice Patton). Determined to stop Savitar, Barry goes to Earth-3 to get advice from Jay Garrick (guest star John Wesley Shipp). Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) wants to help Barry fight Savitar and reveals that he’s been training with H.R. (Tom Cavanagh), which doesn’t go over well with Barry. As Cisco (Carlos Valdes) faces his first Christmas without his brother Dante (guest star Nicholas Gonzalez), old wounds are reopened. Rachel Talalay directed the episode with story by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing and teleplay by Lauren Certo.

Wednesday, December 7

ARROW 5.09 “What We Leave Behind”: After Prometheus attacks Curtis (Echo Kellum), Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes Prometheus knows all of Team Arrow’s secret identities and is planning to come for them one by one. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Detective Malone (guest star Tyler Ritter) discover a clue that links Prometheus to Oliver’s past. Antonio Negret directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Beth Schwartz.

FREQUENCY 1.09 “Gray Line”: Raimy (Peyton List) and Frank (Riley Smith) make a startling discovery about the Nightingale killer. Meanwhile, Frank is blindsided by a shocking betrayal. John Showalter directed the episode written by Nancy Won.

Thursday, December 8

DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW 2.08 “The Chicago Way”: When a new Time Aberration is discovered by the Legends, they find themselves headed to 1927 Chicago. The Legends quickly realize that they have been set up by Eobard Thawne (guest star Matt Letscher), Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) and the newest member of the Legion of Doom, Malcolm Merlyn (guest start John Barrowman). While everyone is trying to help fix what they think is the mission, Jax (Franz Drameh) encourages a reluctant Stein (Victor Garber) to share his secret with the other Legends. Stein is taken captive and Sara (Caity Lotz) must make the tough choice of either stopping the Legion of Doom or saving Stein. Meanwhile, Rory (Dominic Purcell) gets an unexpected visitor and is not sure how to handle it. Brandon Routh, Nick Zano and Maisie Richardson-Sellers also star. Ralph Hemecker directed the episode written by Sarah Nicole Jones & Ray Utarnachitt.

SUPERNATURAL 12.08 “Lotus”: Lucifer’s search for power and influence in a vessel lands him in the White House. The President of The United States (guest star David Chisum) unknowingly makes a deal with the devil, leading Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles), Castiel (Misha Collins), Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard) and Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) to band together to fight the Dark Lord. Directed by Phil Sgriccia the episode was written by Eugenie Ross-Leming and Brad Buckner.

Friday, December 9

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES 8.07 “The Next Time I Hurt Somebody, It Could Be You”: Faced with the fallout from his interaction with Cade (guest star Wole Parks), Stefan (Paul Wesley) is determined to have one thing go right – Christmas Eve with Caroline. However, when Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Sybil (guest star Nathalie Kelley) crash their Christmas Eve dinner, which had been joined by Alaric (Matt Davis), Matt (Zach Roerig) and Peter (guest star Joel Gretsch), things quickly take a dark and twisted turn. Meanwhile, in a series of flashbacks to Stefan’s past, Cade’s attempt to entice him with his mysterious agenda leaves Stefan faced with an unimaginable decision. Kat Graham and Michael Malarkey also star. Tanya Hamilton directed the episode written by Shukree Hassan Tilghman.

CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND 2.07 “Who’s the Cool Girl Josh is Dating?”: When Rebecca (Rachel Bloom) and Valencia (Gabrielle Ruiz) decide to investigate the new girl Anna (guest star Brittany Snow) that Josh (Vincent Rodriguez III) has been dating, they discover way more than they bargained for. Paula (Donna Lynne Champlin), being pulled in different directions, feels disconnected from her husband Scott (guest star Steve Monroe). Pete Gardner, Vella Lovell and Santino Fontana also star. Michael Hitchcock wrote the episode, directed by Jude Weng.
