On this week’s episode of CHICAGO FIRE two young boys’ lives are in jeopardy. While answering a call at a warehouse, the firefighters of 51 find a young boy lying on the floor with a laceration on his forehead. He explains that he and his friend Wiley were playing Avengers and they decided to jump. Looking around for the other boy they find him dangling, and unmoving, from a tall bannister in the warehouse.
Jumping to action, Casey and the team climb to the top and proceed to wrench the boy’s ankle from where it was stuck and carry him back down to safety. But he’s not out of the woods yet, because Wiley is not breathing. Administering CPR until the paramedics arrive, Casey is able to bring the boy back. A hero!
On a more personal note, Dawson’s parents are celebrating with a family reunion for their anniversary and it seems — from the released episode summary — they will not be one happy family. And will Dawson’s girlfriend, who happens to be our very own Sophie, attend?
