Iran’s continued nuclear activities has led to a big problem for the United States and the rest of the world on MADAM SECRETARY.
In this week’s episode (which continues from last week’s build-up), the U.N. Security Council convenes to deal with the issue. As the U.S. tries to build a coalition and the group considers reinstating sanctions against Iran for its suspected nuclear activities, Elizabeth must deal with Israel. With Iran prepping a nuclear bomb, Israel is determined to take matters into its own hands and threatens military actions against the Iranians in order to protect itself.
While all of this is going on#Madam# Russell is still focusing on the election and this time his attention turns to Henry. He wants Henry to woo Congressman Jeff Pearson, to support President Dalton in the House’s election vote. At the same time, Stevie reaches out to Russell and asks for a recommendation to Harvard Law School.
