LA is in the middle of a heat wave when SCORPION returns for its first episode in 2017. The team is heading out to a job at the inter-state waterway in the dessert, but the situation becomes critical when a piece of the machinery breaks off and the shrapnel seriously wounds Cabe.
In order to save his life, Team Scorpion must freeze Cabe’s body. Since they just figured out how to build a homemade curling pond in the middle of the garage, we’re betting they use the same technology to help free Cabe.
Meanwhile, earlier in the episode Allie stops by with the guidelines for the debate between her and Cabe’s candidates and she seriously hints that she’d like Cabe to ask her out on a date. Unfortunately for him, he’s hopeless when it comes to women and seems to miss his chance. But will his near-brush with death convince him to take the plunge with her?
