CHICAGO MED is back and bringing plenty of new challenges for its staff in the new year as April comes up against a setback, Dr. Choi deals with a pair of difficult MMA fighters, and the hospital deals with a potential organ recipient.
April is back and while her return puts her in the midst of a usual day at the ED, she soon discovers more about her TB medication leading her to believe that there may be further complications down the line.
As April returns, Dr. Choi finds himself dealing with two rival MMA fighters who come in after fighting each other and plenty of bad blood between them out of the octagon.
Elsewhere on CHICAGO MED, Dr. Charles takes up the task of evaluating a potential heart recipient as Dr. Stohl returns and offers a different opinion on one of Dr. Halstead’s patients and Jeff makes a confession to Dr. Manning.
