24 is continuing without Jack Bauer when Fox premieres 24: LEGACY this winter. The series centers around Sergeant Eric Carter, the leader of a squad of U.S. Army Rangers who killed notorious terrorist leader Sheik Ibrahim Bin-Khalid in Yemen six months before the start of the show.
After the death of Bin-Khalid his followers declared war against Carter and his squad, which forced them all into federal witness protection. When Carter learns that their covers have been blown, he’s on a mission to save everyone.
To stop more attacks, Carter seeks out Rebecca Ingram, a brilliant intelligence officer who helped lead the raid. She’s since stepped down from her post as National Director of CTU in order to support her husband’s, Senator John Donovan, run for President.
24: LEGACY will premiere after the Super Bowl on Fox.
