Dan Chambers is a bit of a loser. But when this facilities manager at a small Massachusetts college travels back to the past, he’s actually kind of cool. MAKING HISTORY takes viewers back to the 1700s, where Dan spends time with his girlfriend, Deborah Revere, the daughter of the infamous Paul Revere. Unfortunately, Dan’s actions in the past are directly responsible for preventing the start of the American Revolution.
Once Dan realizes what he’s done, he recruits history professor Chris to help him fix it. The pair travel back to the past together (where they meet some of the Founding Fathers) and try to set things right. Once it appears that they managed to get the American Revolution on track, the pair team up with Deborah to right a few other historical wrongs.
The cast includes Adam Pally as Dan, Leighton Meester as Deborah and Yassir Lester as Chris. Phil Lord (THE LAST MAN ON EARTH and THE LEGO MOVIE), Chris Miller, Julius “Goldy” Sharpe and Seth Cohen serve as executive producers.
MAKING HISTORY will premiere on Sunday, March 5 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
