HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER Sneak Peek: The Five Stages of Grief

Wes may be dead on HOW TO GET AWAY WITH  MURDER, but he has a big presence in the January return of the show — not only because his death was recent and hangs over everyone, but because we also see a lot of flashbacks with him. In fact, everyone seems to recall a recent moment with Wes.

Meanwhile, Annalise is clearly distraught over losing Wes, but her situation becomes even more dire when she’s transfered to a local prison to await a bail hearing. Bonnie is determined to get her out and hires a solid lawyer, but Annalise doesn’t want anyone but Bonnie to represent her.

The rest of the students are all adjusting to the loss of one of their own. Laurel is desponent in the hospital after the loss of Wes and we’ll get confirmation on exactly who her Baby Daddy is. But fractures start developing among the kids, with each of them pointing the finger at different people over Wes’ death. Laurel is convinced that Frank is responsible, while Connor believes Annalise is at fault, and Mikaela thinks it was the Mahoney family.

By the end of the episode we’ll hear a surprising confession that’s sure to have a long-lasting effect on the show.

Don’t miss the return of HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER tonight (January 26) at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
