ARROW Sneak Peek: The Gang Of Three

Today is Washington’s birthday, and I cannot tell a lie…Last week’s ARROW was an incredible sounding television show! More effective than a Covey seminar, more nuanced than a Joseph Conrad novel, the artistry of the post production sound team was both profound and elegant.

Supervising Sound Editor, Michael E. Lawshé, Rerecording Mixers Dan Hiland and Gary D. Rogers, Dialogue Editor, Jessica Goodwin, and Sound Effects Editor, Robert Ramirez, delivered a spectacular ARROW last week.

Film students, take note. Along with SUPERNATURAL, this is how television and film should sound. If you did not see either show last week, find them online and enjoy!

Powers-that-be… please submit these folks for Emmys and buy the advertising to ensure that great work gets rewarded.

Also, worth noting when extolling the treasures of ARROW and SUPERNATURAL, a brunette young Mary Winchester, guest star Amy Gumenick, returns to Star City tonight looking for that dish that is best served cold… revenge.

Tonight, Gumenick who returns as Cupid, is part of a 3-pack of crazy-yet-charming-yet-homicidal ladies who break out of Iron Heights and head out to SC for a bit of payback. Also in the dastardly trio are China White (guest star Kelly Hu) and Liza Warner (guest star Rutina Wesley). Definitely time for Team Arrow to suit up.

When Green Arrow tries to corral the new girl gang, the ACU intervenes. But not to arrest the threesome. Law enforcement wants to arrest GA for murdering Detective Malone.

Quentin (Paul Blackthorne) continues to battle his demons and feels responsible for the prison break. It seems as though Warner heard about him working with Damien Darhk. So much for Lance’s hard work getting her to follow the straight-and-narrow.

ARROW also stars David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, Echo Kellum and Josh Segarra. Guest stars on tonight’s episode, “The Sin-Eater,” include Corina Akeson, Lexa Doig, Hesham Hammoud, Juliana Harkavy, Adrian Holmes, David Lloyd, David Meunier, David Nykl, Carly Pope, Dimitri Tsoy and Carlo Yu.

“The Sin-Eater” was written by Barbara Bloom & Jenny Lynn and was directed by Mary Lambert.

ARROW airs tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW in the U.S. and CTV Two in Canada.
