The doctors of CHICAGO MED will be facing tough questions about how to best save their patient this week.
Dr. Manning discovers that her latest patient, who is comatose, is actually pregnant. When she informs her patient’s parents about her discovery, she has to help the parents make a tough decision about the next steps for their daughter and the unborn child.
Elsewhere on CHICAGO MED, a little girl from Ecuador comes into the ED after collapsing mid-flight. After being informed by the girl’s mother about what doctors from Ecuador knew, it’s up to Dr. Choi and Dr. Rhodes to try and find the best way to diagnose and save her.
All the while, Dr. Reese gets contacted by a teen in a psychiatric facility for help and April is dealing with the fallout of the devastating turn her pregnancy took and what it means for her now.
