Three former GLEE co-stars will be reuniting in an upcoming crossover between SUPERGIRL and THE FLASH: Melissa Benoist, Grant Gustin and Darren Criss.
Criss will be making a guest appearance on both shows as Music Meister. The crossover begins in late March on SUPERGIRL, when The Music Meister attacks SUPERGIRL in an episode also guest starring Teri Hatcher as a new villain who targets Supergirl.
The musical extravaganza continues the next night on THE FLASH, when Mon-El and Hank Henshaw come to Earth-1 carrying a comatose Supergirl who was rendered unconscious by the Music Meister. They’ve turned to Team Flash for help in waking her up after their own attempts have failed, but the Music Meister shows up and puts the Flash in a similar coma. Where does the musical aspect come in? While comatose, Kara and Barry wake up in an alternate reality without their powers and discover that life is like a musical. The only way to escape is to sing and dance their way to the end of the script.
