Brad Pitt is coming to Netflix! The film star stars in WAR MACHINE, a new Netflix original by writer-director David Michôd (Animal Kingdom).
Brad Pitt stars as a four-star general who admirably commanded NATO forces in Afghanistan, only to be taken down by his own hubris and a journalist’s no-holds-barred expose. Ntflix says that this film is an “an anti-establishment, pro-soldier exploration in the form of an absurdist war story of a born leader’s ultra-confident march right into the dark heart of folly.” Emory Cohen, RJ Cyler, Topher Grace, Anthony Michael Hall, Anthony Hayes, John Magaro, Scoot McNairy, Will Poulter, Alan Ruck, Lakeith Stanfield, Josh Stewart, Meg Tilly, Tilda Swinton and Sir Ben Kingsley also star.
WAR MACHINE will be available on Netflix on May 26.
In THE MARS GENERATION, Netflix is looking to the future of space travel. Told through the eyes of teenagers, the documentary looks at mankind’s future journey to the Red Planet. The film follows a group of trainees, ages 15-18, at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center as they prepare to become the engineers, astrophysicists and astronauts of tomorrow. Leading experts such as Elon Musk and Neil deGrasse Tyson also contribute to the documentary.
