Following the news earlier that Fox had picked up two new comedies for the 2017-2018 season, we’ve learned that the network has just ordered the new drama series THE RESIDENT to series.
THE RESIDENT stars THE GOOD WIFE’s Matt Czuchry and REVENGE’s Emily VanCamp. The series involves “An idealistic young doctor (Manish Dayal) [who] begins his first day under the supervision of a tough, brilliant senior resident who pulls the curtain back on all of the good and evil in modern day medicine. Lives may be saved or lost, but expectations will always be shattered.” Bruce Greenwood, Shaunette Renee Wilson and Valerie Cruz also star.
Fox is set to unveil its fall 2017 schedule during its Upfront presentation on Monday, May 15 so stay tuned for more information.
