NBC has officially greenlit a nineteenth season for LAW & ORDER: SVU. SVU is the only remaining LAW & ORDER show from the original series of the same name and its various spin-offs over the years.
Former star Chris Meloni left the series back in 2011, but Mariska Hargitay continued and was joined by several new police detectives and prosecutors since then and the show looks like it’s in no danger of ending any time soon. The original LAW & ORDER series ran for 20 seasons.
