SUPERGIRL fans on the East Coast just got delighted by a WONDER-ful surprise. (West Coasters…spoiler alert!)
During tonight’s airing of SUPERGIRL, there was a special promo for the upcoming feature film, WONDER WOMAN (watch it below). The promo features Melissa Benoist as Supergirl/Kara Danvers, Chyler Leigh (Alex Danvers), Teri Hatcher (Queen Rhea) and Lynda Carter (President Olivia Marsdin), who all have been known to rock the stiletto boot or two in real-life.
Supergirl and Alex sport their usual just-the-right-height-for-crime fighting boots, while Olivia’s footwear had a respectable, “presidential” look.
Hatcher, whose boots are phenomenal (if “phenomenal” can come with a 4” stiletto heel) sported the best boots on TV this season. Maybe Rhea brought them from Daxam.
But the kicker (pun intended) was when Rhea complimented Kara (not Supergirl) on her boots. Doing her best impersonation of Lynda Carter’s starring role as television’s WONDER WOMAN, Benoist flashed WW’s signature boots along with her Bracelets Of Submission.
(I didn’t name them. For that, you would need to talk to WONDER WOMAN’s creator, the inventor of the lie detector.)
Stating that she “borrowed the boots from a friend,” Benoist turned to the camera and peeked over her glasses in another signature Diana Prince move.
