For a long time GAME OF THRONES fans have heard that “winter is coming”. Now, however? It’s here. And so are a tremendous amount of battles, at least according to a new extended preview for season 7.
Jon Snow narrates part of the trailer, explained that families have fought together against a commony enemy in the past. “We need to do the same if we’re going to survive, because the enemy is real. It’s always been real.” The enemy appears to the White Walkers, which threatens everyone in Westeros.
Elsewhere, Daenerys is finally arriving on the main shores of Westeros to try and reclaim her birthright. But it’s unlikely that Cersei will let the Iron Throne go without a fight, which means a war between these two women is also inevitable. And what of Jon’s own claim to the throne, thanks to his recently-exposed Targaryen heritage?
GAME OF THRONES returns for a new season on July 16 on HBO.
