Amazon Prime is bringing THE TICK and two kids shows — DANGER & EGGS and NIKO AND THE SWORD OF LIGHT — to San Diego Comic-Con this month. In addition to panels and autograph sessions for the shows (details below), Amazon has also created an interactive immersive TICK experience for Con attendees.
“Citizens” will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in world of THE TICK at Amazon Prime Video’s Tick Takeover, a movie set level design experience positioned directly across from the San Diego Convention Center on MLK Promenade (on the corner of 1st and J streets). With buildings from “The City,” a twenty-foot tall animatronic Tick head, and “Easter eggs” harkening back to the show, “The Tick Takeover is poised to give fans a chance to step into the show. The experience will be open to the public Thursday, July 20 – Saturday, July 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
