It’s all been leading to this. Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist are coming together in Netflix’s THE DEFENDERS this week and the streaming service has released two final clips leading up to the premiere.
The first video below features the cast of THE DEFENDERS giving fans a bit of a recap about their characters before the show begins. As we saw at the end of season 2 of DAREDEVIL, Matt is at a loss and has given up. But he’s also still determined to save the city. Jessica, meanwhile, has no interest in saving the city. But she’s put in Matt’s path when he steps up to defend her. Finally, Luke and Danny cross paths and then all four heroes come together to save New York from an ancient organization that seeks to destroy it.
The second video shows us Sigourney Weaver’s Alexandra, who will be the heroes’ main antagonist for the show.
THE DEFENDERS premieres on Netflix on August 18.
