SUPERNATURAL Extended Preview: The Winchesters Are Down, But Not Out, in Season 13

A new leader in Hell, Lucifer’s kid, and a lost mother and friends are just a few of the major problems the Winchester brothers will have to deal with when SUPERNATURAL returns for its thirteenth season in October.

In a new extended preview for the season, we get an introducion to a few of the brothers’ biggest challenges. In one early scene we spot them being suspended in the air by some sort of “forcefield”. Is that Jack, Lucifer’s new son, who possesses that fantastic power? Given the nursery setting, it appears to be. The confused young man (who should, by all accounts, just be a baby), will flee from the Winchesters early on, but will eventually be taken in by Sam and Dean, who hope to shape him to be good.

Meanwhile, with Crowley now dead and the King of Hell spot open (after all, Lucifer is trapped in an alternate universe), a new white suit wearing demon seems to be stepping on to the throne. He’s going to be shaking things up and making Hell all “fire and brimstone” again. Considering how much the Winchesters came to rely on Crowley staying in his own lane for so many years, this new ruler is sure to cause problems for them.

SUPERNATURAL returns on October 12 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
