What’s coming to The CW the week of October 23? A former 24 star makes an appearance on SUPERGIRL, a villain causes our heroes to have bad luck on THE FLASH, Archie takes a stand on RIVERDALE and a familiar face returns on SUPERNATURAL.

Monday, October 23

SUPERGIRL 3.03 “Far From the Tree”: Eliza (guest star Helen Slater) throws Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Maggie (guest star Floriana Lima) a wedding shower, which causes Maggie to reach out to her estranged father (guest star Carlos Bernard). Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) joins J’onn (David Harewood) on a personal mission. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Jessica Queller & Derek Simon.

Tuesday, October 24

THE FLASH 4.03 “Luck Be a Lady”: Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team are hit by a string of bad luck and realize it is the handiwork of a new meta, Becky (guest star Sugar-Lyn Beard) nicknamed Hazard, who has the ability to give others bad luck, while cashing in the benefits for herself. Meanwhile, Harry Wells (Tom Cavanagh) returns to Earth-1 to give Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) a message from Jesse. Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Sam Chalsen & Judalina Neira.

DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW 3.03 “Zari”: When Sara (Caity Lotz) receives a distress call from their “befriended” agent at the Time Bureau, she learns that they have been tasked with going to the future to capture a rogue time traveler. Unfortunately, the Legends make things worse by trying to protect an outlaw named Zari (Tala Ashe), to hopefully lure in the time travelling assassin. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) tries to diagnose Amaya’s (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) condition, but Nate (Nick Zano) discovers an unusual treatment that Amaya begrudgingly agrees to. Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell and Franz Drameh also star. Mairzee Almas directed the episode written by James Eagan & Ray Utarnachitt.

Wednesday, October 25

RIVERDALE 2.03 “Chapter Sixteen: The Watcher in the Woods”: Frustrated by the lack of progress made in catching his father’s shooter, Archie (KJ Apa) takes matters into his own hands in order to send the gunman a message. Meanwhile, Veronica (Camila Mendes) is thrilled when Hiram’s (Mark Consuelos) attempt to start fresh means she gets to introduce him to her friends, including Archie. Elsewhere, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) starts his first day at Southside High and is befriended by a Southside Serpent named Toni (guest star Vanessa Morgan), while Kevin’s (Casey Cott) attempt at having a little fun causes Betty (Lili Reinhart) to grow concerned for his safety. Finally, an unexpected turn of events leads the town to realize their darkest chapter may be far from over. Kevin Sullivan directed the episode written by Ross Maxwell.

DYNASTY 1.03 “Guilt is for Insecure People”: In a throwback to the ‘80s, when “greed was good,” the Carringtons don their best costumes for their Charity Gala; Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) fights her father Blake (Grant Show) for the right to use the family name in her new business venture; and when Cristal (Nathalie Kelley) learns her sister is in danger, she’s forced to choose between her old family and her new one. James MacKay, Alan Dale, Rafael de la Fuente, Sam Adegoke and Robert C. Riley also star. Ali Adler wrote the episode, directed by Kellie Cyrus.

SUPERNATURAL 13.03 “Patience”: When her friend is murdered by a wraith (guest star Jon Cor) with a taste for psychics, Missouri (guest star Loretta Devine) enlists the help of Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Jody (guest star Kim Rhodes) to protect her granddaughter, Patience (guest star Clark Backo), who has no idea she shares her grandmother’s trait and could be next on the wraith’s hit list. Meanwhile, Sam (Jared Padalecki) continues to work with Jack (Alexander Calvert) on learning how to control his powers. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Robert Berens.

ARROW 6.03 “Next of Kin”: A rogue black ops team led by Onyx (guest star Chastity Dotson) breaks into Kord Industries and steals something lethal. Oliver (Stephen Amell) struggles to connect with William (guest star Jack Moore) so he reaches out to a surprising source for help. Kevin Tancharoen directed the episode written by Speed Weed & Oscar Balderrama.

Friday, October 27

CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND 3.03 “Josh is a Liar.”: After encountering a major setback in her plan to get even with Josh (Vincent Rodriguez III), a panicked Rebecca (Rachel Bloom) starts a smear campaign to discredit Josh before he can turn everyone against her. Donna Lynne Champlin, Pete Gardner, Vella Lovell, David Hull, Scott Michael Foster and Gabrielle Ruiz also star. Michael Hitchcock wrote the episode, directed by Stuart McDonald.

JANE THE VIRGIN 4.03 “Chapter Sixty-Seven”: Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Adam’s (guest star Tyler Posey) relationship seems to be moving at hyper-speed, and Jane thinks that it might be time for him to meet Mateo, but Rafael (Justin Baldoni) is not happy with this idea. As the arrival of baby De LaVega Factor approaches, Rogelio’s (Jaime Camil) jealously of Darci’s (guest star Justina Machado) new boyfriend increases as well. Trying to be supportive, Xo (Andrea Navedo) encourages Rogelio to step up and be the father he was meant to be. Meanwhile, Rafael is determined to get his hotel and life back and will do whatever he has to do to make it happen. Yael Grobglas and Ivonne Coll also star. Fernando Sariñana directed the episode written by Carolina Rivera & Micah Schraft.
