NCIS: LOS ANGELES Sneak Peek: Please Don’t Send In The Clown

I thought I was going to have to skip NCIS: LOS ANGELES tonight. I suffer from coulrophobia.

Yes, despite Harley Quinn and The Joker being some of my favorite characters of all time, I am afraid of clowns.

So, when I saw that tonight’s NCIS: LOS ANGELES episode was titled “Se Murio El Payaso,” which translates to English as “The Clown Died,” I thought, “hmmm, maybe not.”

I looked up “payaso” for alternate meanings, and one of those is “buffoon,” so I am going to be brave and give it a shot.

At the end of last week’s season premiere, with no warning to the team, Hetty (Linda Hunt) traveled to Vietnam after resigning from NCIS: LOS ANGELES.

She met with a contact who alluded to the possibility that an American soldier who was her compatriot in 1976 is still alive in Vietnam. Could the presumed-dead man in question be Harris Keane (Jeff Kober, THE WALKING DEAD)? Nice sense of irony by the casting director…

Back in the States, Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) are interrogating the daughter of a counterfeiter, and Callen (Chris O’Donnell) partners with Anna Kolcheck (recurring guest star Bar Paly) to investigate the family’s latest scheme.

Sam (LL COOL J) goes undercover as a high-powered financier as part of the joint operation with Secret Service Special Agent Nicole DeChamps (LAS VEGAS’s Marsha Thomason).

U.S. viewers, set your DVR for an extension should football delay today’s schedule on CBS. NCIS: LOS ANGELES also airs tonight a 9pm on Global in Canada.

NCIS: LOS ANGELES also stars Barrett Foa, Renée Felice Smith and Nia Long. Guest stars on tonight’s episode are Jeff Kober, Fernanda Andrade, Kip Pardue, Steven Allerick, Long Nguyen, Nanrisa Lee, Natalie Ceballos, Natasha Hall, Neil Rodriquez and Duncan Campbell.

“Se Murio El Payaso” was written by Kyle Harimoto and directed by Rick Tunell.

For those of you who also suffer from coulrophobia, there are no clowns in the sneak peek videos below. Do what I plan to do…watch NCIS: LOS ANGELES at 9pm tonight after WISDOM OF THE CROWD, and keep a pillow nearby if IT shows up.
