The Carrington family has it all. In the new and modernized version of DYNASTY, Blake Carrington is a titan of industry and a very wealthy man. His daughter, Fallon, feels that she’s the best person to take over the family business, while his son, Steven, is fighting the good fight for those less fortunate than his family.
When Fallon and Steven are called to the family compound in Atlanta they get news they never expected: their father is set to marry Cristal, a beautiful young woman who is stepping into their family and the job that Fallon herself wanted. Fallon isn’t one to take a bad situation lying down, so she immediately sets out to smear Cristal’s reputation and get her booted from the family. Unfortunately, Blake is determined to marry her and their surprise wedding occurs soon after (despite Fallon’s best efforts to ruin the wedding dress — and Cristal’s face).
Soon the drama heats up. Fallon is smarting from her father’s actions and takes up with his biggest rival. Meanwhile, Cristal has quite a few skeletons in her closet and the appearance of her nephew, Sammy Jo, threatens to expose them. Then there’s Anders, Blake’s long-time butler who doesn’t appreciate the new lady of the house trying to change things up.
