When WILL & GRACE returned for an all new season after being off the air for so long, the show established that Grace and Leo were now separated, having done away with the storyline of them reuniting and having a child. Instead, the two are on their way to a divorce, leaving Grace living at her old apartment with Will.
But there’s a bit of closure that’s needed between this couple, especially with the way in which the show essentially erased a major part of their old history. So in this week’s episode, Grace is surprised when her doctor’s office calls her soon-to-be-ex-husband, Leo, as her emergency contact (which also leads to a very familiar nurse). The pair will address their old relationship and impending divorce.
Meanwhile, Jack isn’t having much luck booking acting gigs, so she takes on a new job he never expected to like. And Karen ends up making friends with a 12-year-old girl in the Bronx who really seems to get her.
