Barry is thrilled to be free of the Speed Force this week on THE FLASH. Essentially he’s left his troubles behind and he finds a new spring in his step now that he’s back home and reunited with Iris.
But Barry’s new lighthearted attitude is causing a bit of an issue in his relationship with Iris. He’s taken it upon himself to make all the plans for their wedding and is innocently ignoring her place in Team Flash by rescheduling training sessions or doing things his way. This is leaving Iris a bit frustrated and when Caitlin realizes what’s going on and suggests the pair head to couples’ therapy, Iris makes them an appointment. But there’s a deeper anguish hiding behind her recent frustration with Barry’s behavior.
Meanwhile, the team deals with a new metahuman who can control electronic devices and they learn something new about metahumans that will clearly have lasting repercussions for the remainder of the season. And, of course, Cisco’s recent upgrades to Barry’s suit means that he’s in particular danger from this particular meta.
Finally, Gypsy drops by S.T.A.R. Labs to visit Cisco for a date but gets annoyed when work keeps interrupting their alone time.
