“Binge Racing” is a Big Thing on Netflix and Canadians Are At the Front of the Pack

Do you remember the days when you had to wait each week for a new episode of your favorite show? Sure, those days still exist now on network television, but streaming services like Netflix has done away with the week-by-week model and introduced fans to “binge racing”.

“Binge racers” are Netflix viewers who strive to speed through an entire season within 24 hours of its release. 

Since 2012, 8.4 million Netflix members have Binge Raced throughout the work and between 2013 and 2016 the amount of launch day finishers increased more than 20 times over.
