Hulu has renewed two of its freshman series for a second season: RUNAWAYS and FUTURE MAN. The second season of both will consist of 13 episodes, which is a bit of a boost for RUNAWAYS.
RUNAWAYS was created by GOSSIP GIRL’s Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage and based on the Marvel comic series of the same name. The show revolves around a group of teens with extraordinary powers who learn that their parents are part of a secret and evil crime organization.
FUTURE MAN stars THE HUNGER GAMES’ Josh Hutcherson as a janitor and gamer who is recruited to travel through time in order to save humanity from extinction. Seth Rogan is among one of the executive producers.
